boynton canyon respite

We started our hike 5:30 am. By 7 we had reached the end of the canyon trail on the red rocks where there was a place to rest in the shade. There was a smooth, sloping cliff and above it, shade from trees and shrubs. We could view the canyon rocks' creamy and rosy colors while we rested. I saw the bluest skies and a black waterfall.
