Women's Wisdom Gatherings/Circles
- It's great being a woman...it's okay to find our voices and to speak our minds... its okay to stand our ground... it's okay to find our strength and be a strong woman---we just need other fun, savvy women to remind us. These women's get-togethers are where we go to the next step after those fun (wine and cheese parties). We come together to remind each other of our women's purpose, and to help each other find solutions to problems and challenges --- together. This is a new take on women gathering---this time we create nurturing, healing and re-energizing for each other. We'll do this by tapping into a pool of strength and wisdom that we create by coming together and sharing ways that work for us in career, family, health and our paths. Bring a friend or two!
Goddess Balance (or Intro to Goddess)
Uncovering Feminine Power and Strengths within yourself.
- Archetypes are symbols that represent ideas, feelings, and energies. The goddess archetype represents feminine aspects of existence and divinity. But the feminine aspect of Goddess has been dissected out of modern western spirituality for many reasons (although the connection has remained to the feminine divine through the Catholics' devotion to the Mother Mary.) When you take away or undermine the Feminine aspect of humanity and divinity and only uphold the Masculine, imbalance is created---competition prevails, violence and war are the "only solutions"; and unsustainable ways take control over our lives. These days, the concepts of “Domestic Goddess.” “Girl Power.” “Diva.” have been on the rise. For a reason. These concepts are finding their way into pop culture and are empowering for a reason. It is just one way that Feminine is trying to balance out Masculine in the human psyche. If you want to really understand what Goddess and Girl Power are all about, come in for this workshop, a sharing about what feminine divinities and archetypes really mean. Find out about your own subtle but important significance as a woman. Find new ways to express your feminine strength and passion, womanly power and purpose.
